_______________________________
Last week on the 15th
I signed a lease at 197 Clay
and I started the renovation.
Carpeting and two layers of tile are up
revealing that half the shop is the old terrazzo
from the bus arcade and the other half
is wood from the old shoe shop, Dr. Scholls.
Once the tar paper is up,
sanding and varnishing is scheduled.
We are tearing out some of the wallboard
to make way for putting windows back in
the way they used to be.
Tomorrow we'll pick up 2 large coolers
and start to put the office together.
Every day is a new discovery!!!
I'm convinced that all of you will
support me downtown!
I'll still be at the market.
CHEESE
I'm set pretty well on
cheese all the way around.
Back in stock this week
2 Belgium favorites.
Chevagne
The cheese industry in
Belgium is going strong and creates some wonderful cheeses.
Chevagne
is one of these Belgian beauties.
It is a mild and creamy goat’s
milk cheese produced by the Passendale Dairy.
Delicious sliced and
served on a dark, nutty bread.
Old
Brugge
Tradition and nostalgia
were the driving factors behind the creation of Old Brugge,
which
is named after the Belgian town.
Ripened for twelve months,
very
little salt is used and it maintains
a mild, but complex flavor.
Delicious.
Take care,
See you soon.
You must be out of cheese by now!!!!
