Hello all

The Cheese Lady is later than usual this week.   When serious projects call it’s hard to keep all the balls in the air.   All of us struggle with that.   Actually keeping the balls in the air reminds me of this next little ditty.

In a university commencement address several years ago Brian Dyson, CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises , spoke of the relation of work to one's other commitments.

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends, and spirit and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls -- family, health, friends, and spirit -- are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

Don’t know how that actually applies to what is going on here but. . .

My cutting kitchen is in the works.   As I write, Frank is wall-boarding my own cheese kitchen.   I am making myself available to help whenever he needs me.   The window is in.   The back wall and the ceiling are painted.   The kitchen board goes on next.   The 3-compartment sink and the stainless steel table have been ordered.   The plumber will come when everything else is in place.   I am excited and a little scared.

Cheese and wine parties are popping up all over.   I am happy to put together an assortment of cheeses with cheese signs for your party.   Think football get-togethers.   Or harvest dinners.   Or may I remind you that taking cheese to a “bring-a-dish” affair is EASY.   And soon you’ll be expected to bring the cheese.   Which is EASY.   How can I help you?

The olives are available Saturday.   And peppadews, stuffed and unstuffed.   If anyone is interested, I have 2 jars of Austrian stuffed peppadews.   Stuffed with sheep and goat, in oil.   2.2#.   Expensive but incredible.

$45. each.
